It can be a real challenge to walk into a movie late. Most of us don't read a book by starting in the middle somewhere, but oftentimes we seek to understand the Bible and our place in God's story without starting at the beginning. Genesis 1-9 provides us with a context to understand our story and God's story. It reveals God's vision for creation as well as His relentless pursuit of humanity even after we reject His grand vision.
